Evaluating Machine Learning for Product Placement in Video Games

UBC Capstone Project |

Jan 2019 - May 2019

In a team of 4, our UBC Capstone group worked with an industry client ( to consider AI alternatives to traditional algorithms for choosing products to place in video games.

Using Keras to interface with the Tensorflow python library, we compared the accuracy of different models based on a sample set of user data. Our models did not significantly out-perform traditional algorithms, so further investigation was needed after we handed off our work.

A marketing video I created for the project, narrated by one of my group members.
